diceSYTE LLC ("diceSYTE", "we", "us") is a New Hampshire limited liability company, a one-person web design and development studio run by David Ellis. This policy explains what information we collect through dicesyte.com, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to respond to you and run the business, we do not sell your information, and we use privacy-respecting tools.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form, we collect your name and email, which are required, and optionally your business name, what you need, which plan you’re looking at, who’s writing the words, your timeline, and anything you type in the message field. You choose what to share.
Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard server information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability. We use two analytics tools. Cloudflare's analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless. Google Analytics runs only if you allow it. When you do, it sets cookies and tells us more about how people find and move through the site, including which link or campaign brought you here. We do not use either tool for advertising, and neither is linked to an ad account.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and communicate with you about a possible or active project, and to operate, secure, and improve the website. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and the business. They process information only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, runs our contact form, and provides security and analytics. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form submission comes from a person, not a bot.
- Resend delivers the email that tells us a new inquiry has arrived.
- Google Analytics measures site traffic and how visitors arrive.
- Stripe processes payments if you become a client and pay an invoice. Stripe handles your payment details directly. We do not see or store full card numbers.
When you send the contact form, your inquiry is stored in our own client portal, not with a form service. Each provider maintains its own privacy practices.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to measure site usage and tell repeat visits apart, and it only runs if you say yes. Until you choose in the cookie banner, nothing from Google loads and no analytics cookie is set. If you say no, it stays that way. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as a no and don't show the banner at all.
You can change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. If you withdraw, we remove the Google Analytics cookies. One small cookie, dicesyte_consent, remembers your choice for a year. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run ad networks or retargeting pixels, and we do not sell what we collect. The site works normally either way.
How long we keep it
An inquiry that does not become a project is deleted 24 months after our last contact with you. Client and payment records are kept as required for accounting and legal purposes.
Your choices
You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@dicesyte.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
