Why is monthly 10% more?

Because I build the site in month one and collect for it over twelve. The premium is the cost of fronting that. If you’d rather not pay it, pay the year.

What happens in year two?

The number stays the same and the site keeps getting looked after. The build part of your plan is now paying for your next redesign, which is included every three years on Site and Site + Content, and every two on Site + System.

What if I want to leave?

You can, any time. If it’s mid-term, the rest of the year is due at the monthly rate, and I hand over the site, the source and the DNS instructions within thirty days. After the term, you just don’t renew.

Can I host it somewhere else?

Yes. The site’s yours, and it moves with you. It’s hosted on my Cloudflare account by default; if you’d rather it lived in your own from day one, that’s fine and it costs the same.

What counts as a change?

Anything you’d ask a person to do to a page: new text, a new photo, a new office, a new team member, a price update. Time doesn’t roll over, and if something’s bigger than your included time I’ll tell you before I start.

For the slow parts, yes: first drafts, image variants, checks. A person, me, reads every word that ships and is accountable for it. Nothing generated goes live unseen.
