Who you would be talking to

Two clinicians. You choose, or we suggest, and you can change your mind after the first session without explaining yourself.

Dana Whitcomb, LICSW

Founder and Clinical Director
Works with adults. Anxiety, trauma, grief.

Dana started Tuckerman in 2021 after eleven years in community mental health, where the caseloads were large enough that good work was often the thing there was no time for. The practice is small because that was the point of leaving.

Her work is mostly with adults who are functioning, often visibly well, and are exhausted by what that is costing them. She is trained in EMDR and uses it when it fits, which is not always.

Dana is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in New Hampshire.

Theo Vasquez, LMHC

Staff Clinician
Works with couples and adults. Life transitions.

Theo joined Tuckerman in 2024. Most of his work is with couples, and with people in the middle of a change they did not necessarily choose: a job ending, a move, a diagnosis, a marriage that is either ending or being rebuilt.

He is direct in session. Several clients have described the first few appointments as more blunt than they expected and more useful than they expected, in that order.

Theo is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire.

Choosing between them

If you are coming as a couple, you will see Theo. If you are coming on your own, either of us can work with you, and the consultation is partly about figuring out which. If the fit is wrong, say so. It is a normal thing to say and it does not offend us.
